Hindi Samaaj Election 2011

Hindi Samaaj is a Sydney Based non-profit organization with an aim to promote Hindi through its literary and cultural activities in Sydney for the past few decades. Hindi is the second most spoken language in the world following the Chinese. Hindi is on its way to become an international language and we need your support. Annual general meeting for 2010 including the elections for the Executive Committee of Hindi Samaaj was held on 19th Dec 2010 at Girraween Hindi School, Girraween.


Following individuals were elected Hindi Samaaj executives through the election process and YES it is all talented women’s team this time


  • President: Mrs Gunjan Tripathi
  • Vice President: Mrs Richa Srivastava
  • Treasurer: Mrs Madhu Dwivedi
  • Secretary: Mrs Nirupma Verma

On the occasion, outgoing president Mr. Sunil Srivastava presented the president’s report and outlined Hindi samaaj’s achievement like Bal Divas, children’s participating in Independence day celebration, Hindi School at Girraween, raising profile of Hindi Samaaj with other communities. He stressed that the work has not finished yet and current president Mrs Gunjan Tripathi will aim to raise the profile at various state and national levels
